Introduction to Modern Flourishing - EARLY BIRD price £60

Are you ready to take your lettering to the next level? 

I have created a fabolous new 2-part flourishing workshop, where I will show you how to master simple flourishing techniques, to add embelishment and flair to your lettering compositions.

 

The is split between 2 sessions and will be taking place on:

• Thursday 11th November, 7pm - 8:30pm  (Workshop 1)
• Thursday 18th November, 7pm- 8:30pm  (Workshop 2) 

(if you are unable to attend both sessions I have an option to purchase tickets with a class recording.

Workshop 1: Introduction to the basics, will include:

• An introduction on how to use your brush pen tools
• Warm up exercises with a specific focus on flourish shaping
• Practice differnt styles of flourishing alphabet letters 
• Homework - flourishing exercise 

Workshop 2: Developing , will include:

• Warm up exercises with a specific focus on flourish shaping 
• Critique homework exercise
• Learn how to connect letters and words, learnt in week 1, with differnt flourish shaping
• Composition, layout and adding details to words and phrases

Writing tools are not supplied with this workshop, but a list of recomended items are provided below:

• PENS: Pentel Touch or Sign Brush Pen / Tombow Fudenosuke Hard or Soft Tip Pen / Faber Castell Artist Pitt Pen / Pencil / Eraser
• PAPER: Rhodia paper pads / Tracing paper / Layout paper / High quality HP paper
